 I believe in a representative government that listens and responds to the residents concerns and vision for our community.  We want to maintain the small-town charm of Punta Gorgeous!  I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving you, safeguarding and enhancing our community's charm and quality of life

1.  Accepted resignation of previous city manager, hired new city manager
2.  Chose not to renew previous attorney's contract and hired new outside corporate attorney who is working well with the city
3.  Canceled 15 to 20 million City Hall addition and renovation and currently looking into cost-effectiveness of rehabilitating Old City Hall. Authorized new roof for the whole city hall to control damage from the previous five years of neglect
4.  Saved over $4500 per month by initiating move to city owned Lashley Community Building for City Council and board meetings
5.  Resolved flooding problems with shops at Harald Court by assisting  with damage expenses
6.  Purchased Tiger Dams to prevent further water intrusion during flooding. Purchased Tiger Dams to protect other City properties
7.  Worked with local builder to formulate a plan for restore Freeman House with help from builders association

8.  Secured 2 high water vehicles with State Funding for mobility and rescues during storm
9.  Researching cause of flood issues and best ways to mitigate such issues including clearing of Tide valves and improving drainage
10.  Worked with public works to clean up and rebuild after hurricanes including bathrooms Harbor walk,  Pickleball and Tennis courts 
11.  Canceled 2024 Land Development Regulations which the state deemed were in not allowed at this time. Beginning to work with residents to formulate legal, appropriate LDR's with the best from both options

12.  Working on plans for a large Pavillion structure at the old Bayfront for public enjoyment and events
13.  Working with Advent Emergency Center and Hospital to be located on Jones Loop between Aldi and Burnt Store
14.  Lowered millage rate tax

15.  Approved a fun new restaurant on the east side of the 41 on Olympia to be opened in late 2026
16.  Working with the old Waterfront Hotel leaders to help move that project along
17.  Made plans to expand and improve water and sewer service while securing some grants and loans
18.  Replacing water meters with functioning AMI system that reads meters accurately. In the meantime I authorized hiring of a company to manually read meters
19.  Working with Fisherman's Village to encourage new owners with great vision for the property in the near future
20.  Researching the best way to rebuild the city's Laishley Marina
21.  Promoting access to kayak rentals in Ponce de Leon Park and possibly other locations
22.  Encouraged City to demonstrate project planning with their continuing work and completion dates
23.  Prioritizing the most important budget items especially with consideration of property tax Revenue reduction 
24.  Worked to maintain 911 Call Center in Punta Gorda
25.  Cooper Street Rec Center  community involvement and participation 
26.  Authorized online permitting for building department which will increase efficiency for the city and the builders
27.  Promoting Protection of Charlotte Harbor, Peace River and our Shell Creek freshwater resources 
28.  Appointed to the Charlotte County Tourism Development Committee to help bring Visitors to Punta Gorda's businesses and attractions.  This tax revenue helps reduce property taxes for homeowners. 

29.  Appointed to the Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center Board helping raise awareness of this beautiful park and their dedication and the protection and enhancement of our beautiful natural resources
